Help PH help the owners of flood-damaged historic properties

Houston and Harris County have begun the lengthy process of recovering from the unprecedented flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey. Residents in several historic neighborhoods are dealing with the storm's aftermath and the unique challenges facing the owners of historic properties. Your tax-deductible donation will help Preservation Houston coordinate efforts to assist and advise the owners of flood-damaged historic properties.

Support PH's public programming

As one of Preservation Houston's co-founders and a pioneer preservationist, Bart Truxillo (1942-2017) worked to increase public awareness of our city's historic architecture and the value of historic preservation.

In light of Bart's contributions to the organization, the Preservation Houston Board of Directors has decided that it would be appropriate to dedicate funds donated in Bart's memory to support Preservation Houston's public programs. Our History in Print author series, Preservation in Practice lecture series and future programs that may be developed will be presented under the umbrella of the Bart Truxillo Program Series.

Make a tax-deductible donation of any amount in support of PH's programming and pay tribute to Bart Truxillo.

Give a gift rich in history

Memorial and honorarial gifts are a meaningful way to acknowledge friends, family members or colleagues. When your gift is received, Preservation Houston will send a letter to the person you indicate notifying them of your thoughtful donation.

Increase your contributions through matching gifts

Many employers sponsor corporate matching gift programs that can double or triple the value of their employees' charitable donations. Please contact your company's Human Resources Department and request that they enroll Preservation Houston in the matching gifts program. The necessary forms may be sent to:
