We're holding a happy hour for Preservation Houston and Pier & Beam members Thursday evening, September 26, and we'd love to see you there! This informal gathering will be a great opportunity to unwind, catch up with fellow members and share our passion for preservation in a classic setting: West Alabama Ice House, a fixture in the Montrose area since 1928.

Join Pier & Beam and Architecture Center Houston at Axelrad Beer Garden for a special screening of Eames: the Architect and the Painter, a film dedicated to the lives and work of husband-and-wife designers Charles and Ray Eames.

Join Pier & Beam — Preservation Houston's next-generation member group — for its January Happy Hour on Wednesday evening, January 18, at Lucille's, 5512 La Branch in the Museum District. P&B happy hours are a great way to catch up with Pier & Beam members, meet new people and have a much-needed drink (or three) in a historic location. They're open not only to Pier & Beam members, but also to prospective members; if you're 21-45 and passionate about Houston's architecture and history, please drop by.
