Good Brick Award nominations now open for 2015

Preservation Houston is now accepting nominations for the 2015 Good Brick Awards for excellence in historic preservation. Residential, commercial and institutional projects all qualify for awards. Awards are also given for publications, recognition for design professionals, preservation-related programs or activities and outstanding service or leadership in historic preservation.

To qualify for a Good Brick Award, preservation projects must be located within Harris County and must have been completed within the last five years.

Anyone may submit a nomination. In the case of building projects, the award recipient must be the property owner who carried out the project. Nominating yourself will not affect your chances for receiving an award. A non-refundable $150 administrative fee is required with all nominations. For additional information, e-mail us or call (713) 510-3990.

The 2015 Good Brick Awards will be presented at Preservation Houston’s Cornerstone Dinner on Friday, February 20, 2015.
